Using our experience of partnering with a dozen large INGOs over the last 5 years, we bring context and expertise to analyzing operational structures and organizational cultures. There is no one way to run an INGO, so we work thoughtfully to respect existing teams and processes while working to create consensus for methodical transparent change when necessary. When senior leadership and staff throughout the organization, and in the field, come together in consensus around merit-based approaches that strengthen, grow and support the impactful work of traditional projects but that also catalyze market-based or blended-finance approaches, the natural synergies of this cross sectoral work can be realized methodically year-over-year. Ensuring that a new mutually-reenforcing hybrid economic engine that creates opportunities and innovation is thriving is absolutely critical to long-term sustainability of an INGO.
